Happy Labor Day!
Happy September First!
Happy still summer …

I know it’s confusing – and we can partially blame Starbucks with their premature release of the pumpkin spice latte, but no, you cannot wear tall boots today … or really for the next 30 days for that matter.

Take a look at the forecast, it’s still supposed to be in the upper 80’s and into the 90’s for as far as the meteorologists can see. There’s no point in also prematurely wearing tall boots, savor these last weeks of sandals and patios, let the longing for tall boots and fall and cool weather linger for just a little longer.

The first day of fall is Tuesday, September 23rd – we will revisit in a few weeks, but no guarantees.
October 1 is just a week later – make the sacrifice and wait for the right day!

Although I am unsure if your blog is intended to be humourous, I can only assume that it is written for a very balmy fall climate. Meanwhile here in Canada, it’s snowing. I’m wearing my tall boots regardless of what you think.

Thanks for your concern, yes this blog is based in the south, it’s also extremely and ridiculously satirical …
      Stay warm!
